About Us
Movi Pros are a collection of Film and Television Professionals with years of experience in the industry. We have a roster of Gimbal Operators and Technicians for your every need.
We have collaborated on numerous projects including Corporate, Documentary, Drama, Commercial, Short Film, Music Promo and Feature Film Production. Many of these productions were met with critical acclaim and received numerous awards.
We can provide equipment in a dry or wet hire capacity (with or without crew).
We first experienced Gimbal Technology working on a feature film in Colombia and we were blown away by it's potential and flexibility in delivering camera stabilisation and fluid motion.
Whether your project would benefit from adding movement for a single shot or the entire shoot, we can provide a solution to improve production value.
We have access to Camera stabilisers such as the Movi Pro from Freefly and are flexible in the services we offer.
Kit List
Camera Stabiliser
Freefly Movi Pro powered by DJI TB 50 batteries providing longer shoot times and reliability. The Camera stabilisation system uses motors to create steady and smooth camera movement in any situation.
Dual Operation and Remote Head Operation
MoVi Controller (joystick or wheels) to control the MoVi by wireless technology, allowing the gimbal to be mounted on any fixed mount including cranes and tracking vehicles.
Additional Kit
Rickshaw
Raptor Z / Flowcine Black Arm, spring loaded mounts to dampen bounce when attached to a securing point.
Flowcine Vibration Isolator with Moy fitting to join MoVi to the selected mount or fixing point.
DJI Battery Charging Station allowing fast charging and monitoring of battery condition.
Eartec wireless communications kit, invaluable when dual operating or working over distance.
MONOS
FEATURE FILM
Our first foray into Gimbal World. Over 70% of the film was shot on the MoVi M15 in uncompromising locations, testing the kit to its limits! We learned how versatile and dependable the MoVi is. Shooting in a number of different configurations for handheld, dual operation, crane work, boats and even helicopters! Monos was met with critical acclaim and went on to win numerous film festival awards.

COMMERCIAL
The Director of Photography wanted to obtain fluid camera movements while moving from high angle to low shots. This was achieved by using a MoVi Pro mounted to a Fisher 23 crane arm. The MoVi controllers joystick was used to operate remotely and simultaneously.

CAROL
SHORT FILM
We shot the sequences using an innovative head mounted electronic viewfinder rather than the traditional onboard monitor. Reducing the weight of the gimbal and camera package and also allowing the operator to see the frame at all times regardless of the usual constraints of angle and accessibility.
